Tribune staff PITTSBURG — Cody Catterson led the Chanute High School track team at the 22nd Annual Jock’s Nitch Gorilla Relays on a cold, windy and rainy Friday at Pittsburg State University. WEB UPDATE: CHS events postponed due to weather
The rain wiped out several Chanute High School athletic events scheduled for Friday.
The CHS tennis invite was cancelled and will not be made up, CHS Athletic Director Eric Methvin said.
The varsity baseball and softball games scheduled at Labette County were postponed. No make-up date has been announced.
The JV baseball and softball games at Girard were postponed and no make-up date was announced.
The track meet at Pittsburg State was still on.

CHANUTE — The winning streak continues. The Neosho County Community College baseball team has now won 11-straight after sweeping Maple Woods on Tuesday at Hudson Field.
