Hazel Marie Fundis, 95, Iola, died Thursday, Feb. 10, 2011, at Iola Nursing Center. Hazel was born August 7, 1915, at LeRoy, the daughter of Omer and Laura May Sims Gwinn. She graduated from LeRoy High School. On March 28, 1935, Hazel married Wesley G. Fundis and they lived and farmed near Aliceville for 52 years. In January of 1987, they moved to Iola.
