Neosho County patient diagnosed with tuberculosis
The Neosho County Health Department has confirmed that an individual in Neosho County has been diagnosed with Tuberculosis Disease of the lungs. The individual has been put on medications and is currently being monitored by Neosho County Health Department.
Neosho County Officials are working with the Kansas Department of Health and Environment to identify and evaluate those who may have had significant close contact with the individual.

Erie High School student Kody Tredway will compete in the 63rd Annual National High School Finals Rodeo (NHSFR) next weekend.

Capps pleads no contest, will serve 69 months
Delana Capps, 27, pleaded no contest to aggravated arson Wednesday morning, nearly fire months from the day she set fire to the Rendezvous Club at 11 N. Evergreen.
Judge John E. Sanders from the 13th Judicial District accepted the plea agreement.

YATES CENTER — Southeast Kansas has a world champion in its midst. Charly Cummings, Yates Center, earned the title of World Auctioneer Champion at the Livestock Marketing Association’s (LMA) competition in Williamston, S.C. last weekend.
“It’s crazy,” he said. “It’s going to be a lifestyle change.”
The 32-year-old Cummings was sponsored by Southeast Kansas Stockyards, LLC, in Gas, where he is also a partner.
