Peters - Trester
Clinton Trester and Sabrina Peters, both of Humboldt, will be married Sept. 29 at 3 p.m. in the afternoon on the Humboldt Town Square.
Trester is the son of the late Richard Trester of Humboldt, and Frank and Prudence Davis of Maypearl, Texas.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Darrell and Shirley Peters of Humboldt.

Ella Mae Harris, 80, of Chanute, died Wednesday, Sept. 12, 2012 at her home in Chanute.
Ella was born in Parsons on August 27, 1932, the daughter of Fredrick John and Ella Katherine Ward Lindsey. She attended St. Paul schools and Neosho County Community College.

Jaulaine Dent, 90, of Chanute, died Wednesday, Sept. 12, 2012 at the Prairie Mission Retirement Village in St. Paul.
Jaulaine was born in Stillwell, Okla., on June 26, 1922, the daughter of John Lee and Myrtie Brunk Mintz. She was delivered by an Indian midwife named Walking Stick. She graduated from Chanute High School.

Velva Burche, 86, of Moran, died on Tuesday, Sept. 11, 2012, at Moran Manor in Moran.
She was born on Dec. 22, 1925, in rural Uniontown, the daughter of Roy and Daisy Hester Pool. She graduated from Moran High School with the Class of 1944.

Caroll Fred “Tip” Tippie, 72, Humboldt, died Monday, Sept. 10, 2012, at his home, surrounded by his family. Tip was born Dec. 31, 1939 in Elsmore, the son of Fred F. and Anna Emily Caroline Seastedt Tippie. He graduated from Elsmore High School.
He served his country in the United States Army from 1961 to 1964.
