Beatrice Hottenstein, 85, Humboldt, died Saturday, May 28, 2011 at Chanute Healthcare in Chanute.
Bea was born at Ft. Madison, Iowa on June 21, 1925, the daughter of Ross and Catherine Temborius Saddler. She graduated from St. Joseph Catholic School in Ft. Madison, Iowa in 1943.
She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Anthony Charles “Charlie” Thompson, 87, Chanute, died Sunday, May 29, 2011 at the Heritage Health Care Center in Chanute. Charlie was born Nov. 1, 1923 in Moran, the son of Anthony Wayne and Jessie Rose Thompson. He graduated from Kincaid High School in 1941.

Ethel was born at Walnut on Oct. 23, 1919, the daughter of Noble B. and Viola M. Critcher Puckett. She graduated from Walnut High School in 1937. She married Verle A. Tredway in Parsons on April 16, 1940. He preceded her in death on April 3, 1982.

Janice K. McCoy, 70, life-long Erie resident, died Monday May 30, 2011 at the Neosho Memorial Regional Medical Center in Chanute after battling cancer since 2009.

Judith Lea Hedden, 72, Chanute, died Saturday, May 28, 2011 at her residence.
Judith was born at San Pedro, Calif., on Sept. 28, 1938, the daughter of Byron Adams and Lola Moritzky.
Judith is survived by one daughter, Erin Muninger; and one granddaughter, Kelly Hedden, Rogers, Ark. She was preceded in death by her parents.
