Rena M. Topham, 85, Fredonia, died Saturday, October 31, 2009, at her home.

She was born April 22, 1924, to Dietrick H. and Susan F. Conyer Ubben in Peabody.

On Sept. 16, 1940, she married James D. Topham in Peabody. He died in 2000.

She was a farmer and drove a school bus for many years for the Fredonia School District.

Survivors include a daughter, Geneva Jones, Chanute; two sons, Terry J. Topham, Fulton, Ill., and Garry D. Topham, Joplin, Mo.; a sister, Georgia Laloutte, Florence; eight grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and 11 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a grandson and seven brothers and sisters.

Cremation has been requested. A memorial service will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Countryside Funeral Home in Fredonia.
